This site is about silver.. silver metal, silver companies, silver stocks, silver analysis, silver charting. silver links, silver uses... in short, most all things silver...  On this site, you can find most of the information currently available about silver on the web, either within these pages or as links to nearly all of the resources and / or references discussing silver in any meaningful way.

This site is also a casual commentary on the silver and gold market(s) and how they relate to the greater financial arenas.  It is intended primarily as an educational platform and the discussions here range from simple to relatively complex, touching on issues such as the current currency values of silver and gold, stock market dynamics, economic definitions, oil prices and energy fundamentals, global currency exchanges, commodity inflation, and so on. In addition, this site will post an occasional observation on social issues such as population effects, environmental issues and human psychology overlaying this complex web of global trading values and their relationships.

Further, this site is also a response to consistent questioning I have received regarding my opinions on the changing world values being experienced around us, and the confusing mix of fact, fiction, fear and financial spin confronting us. The commentary included here is an attempt to, if not clarify some understanding of various changes and values in the world, then at least offer one person's opinion on these matters, for the sake of those enquiring.

The format of this discussion is in three parts; the first part being specific commentary on the financial markets with the emphasis being on silver, and by association gold; the second area being answers to questions being asked from readers; and third, more generalized opinion on broader issues or overviews.  Additional to this format may be an occasional writing on some of my foundational understanding of exchange values or similar topics.  In general, articles will end with links to any outside references / information from which I may have drawn in my considerations, and the site Silver Insights will be updated about once or twice a week, as time allows.
